1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing this website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

All materials on this site are the property of Climpact Pty Ltd or its contributors and are used with permission of the rights owner. You may not reproduce or use them without permission.

3. PERMITTED USE

You may browse and access event-related information for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse, disrupt, or use this site unlawfully.

4. DATA COLLECTION & COOKIES

Climpact Pty Ltd may collect limited information such as your name and email. It may also use analytics tools provided by the hosting platform (Squarespace) to monitor traffic. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

This site may contain links to third-party services, including an invite-only registration portal hosted by EventsAir.  Your use of any third-party service is governed solely by that provider’s terms and privacy policy, which is outside of Climpact Pty Ltd’s control.  Climpact Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for such external services.

Part 2: Event terms & conditions

6. EVENT DETAILS

Climate Connect Sydney is a private, invite-only in-person event. The organiser may update event details such as date, venue, speakers at any time and will notify invitees of material changes as soon as practicable.

7. REGISTRATION Registration is by invitation only. Invitations and tickets are managed via EventsAir.  Registration generally guarantees access, but Climpact Pty Ltd reserves the right to deny or revoke entry at its sole discretion, including for reasons of venue capacity, security, health requirements, or attendee conduct.  Registration is non-transferable unless approved by the organiser.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT

All attendees must behave respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or disruption may result in removal without notice. Attendees must also comply with all applicable laws and any venue-specific rules or policies.

9. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • No Warrantees
    All content and services are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  • Limitation of Liability
    Climpact Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:
     a) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, this website;
     b) any inaccuracies or omissions in the content of this website;
     c) your participation in the Climate Connect Sydney event; or

By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded. Climpact Pty Ltd may use, reproduce and publish such these materials in any format and medium for promotional or archival purposes. If you prefer not to appear in photos or recordings, please notify us in advance and we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

The event may feature sponsors or partners. These entities act independently and will be clearly identified. Participation with them is voluntary.

12. USE OF THIRD PARTY LOGOS AND TRADEMARKS

Logos, brand names, and trademarks shown on this website and during the event are the property of their respective owners. Unless clearly identified as sponsorship, their appearance does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or auditing by those organisations. They are used for identification or informational purposes only. If you are the owner of a trademark or logo displayed here and have concerns about its use, please contact us.

13. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will exclusively be handled in courts of that jurisdiction.
